August 25: Volunteer Night: Come hang out at the Good Life to meet other volunteers, eat some snacks, and volunteer together!

August 26: 5:30: Monthly Critical Mass Bike Ride: A world wide community bike ride organized by no one in particular. Meet in front of the Good Life Community Bicycle Shop.

September 1: 6:30: Wheel Truing: From spoke tensioning to vertical and horizontal true


September 8: 6:30: Gears and Queers: Bike tricks of the trade: fixing seized derailleurs, putting the “click” back in trigger shifters, manual adjustments for spring tension on brakes etc.

September 14: 4 – 8 pm Women's Wednesday: 6:30: Bike tricks of the trade: fixing seized derailleurs, putting the “click” back in trigger shifters, manual adjustments for spring tension on brakes etc.

September 16: 7 pm: Good Life Fundraiser begins with a bike ride meeting at Eau Claire Plaza, followed by a night of live bands and DJs at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (8 pm to 2 am). Silent auction! Door prizes! Patch a flat contest! DECOY DECOY! DJs Molly Fi, Peekaboo Perkinn, and Density. $5 to $20 sliding scale.

Introductory bike mechanics workshops include learning basic bike anatomy and how to lube a chain and patch a flat.

Women's Wednesdays (trans inclusive) are Good Life hours for women and trans people to work on and learn about bikes. The Good Life is always a trans-inclusive and non-judgemental space.

Gears and Queers workshops are workshops by and for queer folks and allies.

All workshops are two hours long and cost $10 by donation unless otherwise noted, subsidies are available upon request. Please call the Good Life at 403.984.4727 to register – space is limited!
