Volunteering at the Good Life!
Volunteers are an integral part of
running the Good Life. Volunteering is simple – just sign up as a
member and you can come to in to volunteer at any time and for any
amount of time. Jobs done by volunteers run from cleaning up the
shop, to sorting parts, to greeting people, to stripping or fixing
bikes. No mechanical experience is necessary! We welcome people of
all ages and experience levels.
When you come into the shop to
volunteer make sure to sign in with a Greaser, and feel free to ask
for guidance. If you've never been to the shop, we'd be happy to give
you a quick orientation. If you're looking for a more structured
introduction to the shop, or you just want to hang out with some
sweet people while volunteering, we have monthly “Volunteer
Nights,” during which we eat snacks, do shop orientations and group
volunteer projects.
Volunteering at the GoodLife Community
Bicycle Shop is a great way to improve or learn mechanical skills,
meet great people and contribute to the community!
Thanks to all the wonderful past,
present and future volunteers who make the Good Life! |
