The Good Life Community has an ever-changing stock of used bicycles and components that are kindly donated by members of the community who want to support what we’re doing – this is our main fundraising venture and directly helps us keep the doors open and our services accessible. Bikes range in price from about $50 – $400 dollars depending on what shape they are in and the quality of the brand. Our stock is known for including all kinds of odds, ends, gems and artifacts from years gone by as well as newer items. We also sell new items including locks, chains, cables, and some accessories that we’ve decided are necessary to providing a complete service – revenue from these sales also goes directly towards the community programs that we provide.
In case you’re low on cash, prefer to avoid the money-economy or just want an alternative, we will hook you up – just ask.
Some of our bikes are “as-is” which means that they might need a little bit of fixin’ up, which you can learn to do at our shop! These bikes are much less expensive. Other bikes will be “tuned” which means that they have been gone over and are ready to ride – these are a little more expensive.
Sometimes we will post special bikes on our Instagram, Flickr and Tumblr.
