It’s Bigger Than Bikes

We acknowledge that The Good Life Community Bike Shop is located on Treaty 7 land – traditional lands of the Nations of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Kainaiwa, Sik’sik’a, and piigani; the Tsuut’ina; the Lyarhe Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Wesley, and Bearspaw bands, as well as the Metis Nation Zone 3. Many promises were honoured and broken in the making of this treaty, and we thank the caretakers of this land for future generations

The Good Life Community Bicycle Shop is a nonprofit education and resource centre founded on the values of:
mutual aid, equality, inclusion, anti-oppression, and connection to and care for the environment.
We use bicycles as a vehicle for empowering individuals and communities in becoming increasingly resourceful, resilient, responsible, and caring.

To participate in the shop and use the tools, become a member. You can volunteer your time to cover your membership fee, shop time, and used parts cost or even build your own bicycle! Of course, we have a large selection of ready-to-ride bicycles for sale as well.

Our organization is run by a group of caring people with a non-hierarchical management structure. Everyone’s voice is welcome. Come to our monthly Box Socials to get more involved.
